Privacy

Klyply is desktop software. It runs on your own computer, and your videos, their audio, the transcripts and the finished clips never leave it. We cannot see them and have no way to retrieve them.

What this website collects

This site is a single page describing the product. It sets no analytics or advertising cookies of its own. Its fonts and images are served from this domain rather than a third party.

Opening the checkout loads a script from Lemon Squeezy, our payment provider, so that the purchase can happen without leaving this page. That request tells Lemon Squeezy your IP address and browser. Their own privacy policy governs what they do with it.

What buying involves

Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. They take your payment details and your email address, and we never see your card. We receive your email address and the fact of your order, so that we can send your licence key and answer support requests.

What activating the software involves

When you activate a licence key, Klyply contacts Lemon Squeezy once to confirm the key is valid, and sends an identifier derived from your computer so the key can be bound to it. That identifier is a one-way hash: it cannot be turned back into anything about your machine. After activation the software works offline and does not contact us again, apart from an occasional check that the licence has not been refunded or revoked.
